Redefining the Rollator Aesthetic

Current rollators prioritize cost-efficiency over user dignity, causing many to reject them to avoid the stigma of decline. This project treats the object's overly technical, medical appearance as the primary design problem to solve. By drawing on the structural honesty of furniture and classic bicycles, the design introduces a refined Nordic language of clarity and restraint. Ultimately, this multimedia process transforms the rollator from a clinical tool into a sophisticated, domestic vehicle that restores social dignity to an aging population.
